THE AMAZING RACE SEASON 27, EPISODE 3 RECAP

So, last week, the Amazing Race 2015, week 2 teams went to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Alex and Adam were eliminated. Since Justin and Diana won last week, they are the first to leave this week for the teams’ new destination, which is San Antonio de Areco, still in Argentina. The teams need to get to the bus station and take a bus to their destination. The teams taxis and head to the bus station.

Tanner and Josh get on the same bus as Kelsey and Joey. Tanner and Josh inform a news reporter that they will hand over the Express Pass to whatever team U-Turns Justin and Diana. Just then, guess who boards their bus? Yup- Justin and Diana. The other teams, except for Ernest and Jin, are on another bus. Ernest and Jin take the last bus.

The three teams who were on the first bus get to San Antonio de Areco first. They all take different pickup trucks and head to the Roadblock. The Roadblock requires one member from each team to nag meat properly. Ummmm…..yuck is really all I have to say. Sorry, but I hate touching raw meat. Anyways, the gaucho must approve that the meat is hung correctly, then they are given the next clue. For the first three teams, Josh, Joey and Justin all take part in the Roadblock.

The next teams to arrive are Logan and Chris, Cindy and Rick, Jazmine and Danielle, Denise and James and Tiffany and Krista, in which Chris, Rick, Jazmine, James, and Tiffany take part in the Roadblock.

Josh is the first one to complete the Roadblock and he is provided with the next clue. Josh and Tanner must take the meat and deliver it to Plaza Principal, where they will be given their next clue. Meanwhile, the other teams are still working on the Roadblock, with Justin failing several times.

Joey is the second to pass the Roadblock, with Rick passing third and Justin finally passing fourth. So, Kelsey and Joey, Cindy and Rick and Justin and Diana can now make their way to Plaza Principal.

Tanner and Josh get the meat delivered to Plaza Principal and get their next clue: Detour: Horse or Carriage. The Horse Detour means the teams need to dress up in polo clothing, carry a mallet and head to the horse station. Once there, they need to clothe the faux horses and deliver them. The Carriage Detour means that teams need to clean and deliver a carriage to attach to a horse.

Tanner and Josh choose the Horse Detour. Kelsey and Joey, as well as Justin and Diana, choose the Horse Detour while Cindy and Rick choose the Carriage Detour. Tanner and Josh start dressing their horse first, but the other teams are not too far behind.

All of the other teams are still having a tough time with the Roadblock. Denise gives James a hint. Ummm…does she know that is against the rules? What is she thinking? The rules state that team members who are not taking part in the Roadblock cannot help the participating team member.

Lo and behold James is the next one to finish the Roadblock. Logan and Chris as well as Tiffany and Krista are still at the Roadblock while Ernest and Jin haven’t even arrived at the Roadblock yet.

Eventually, Justin and Diana and Kelsey and Joey catch up to Tanner and Josh. Cindy and Rick end up forgetting the whip they needed for the Carriage Detour so they need to walk back and get it.

While Chris and Tiffany both complete their Roadblocks, Ernest and Jin arrive to start the Roadblock.

Tanner and Josh struggle with their Detour task but they finally finish it, being the first team to complete the Detour. The other teams then arrive at the Detour, including Logan and Chris, Jazmine and Danielle as well as Denise and James, with all teams choosing the Horse Detour.

Tanner and Josh head to the Pit Stop: Museo Gauchesco and they must walk there. Justin and Diana, as well as Kelsey and Joey, finish their Detours.

Tiffany and Krista choose the Carriage Detour when they arrive. As they start their Detour, Jazmine and Danielle and Denise and James finish their Detours.

Meanwhile, Tanner and Josh get lost going to the Pit Stop, so Justin and Diana have the chance to get in front of them. However, in the end, Tanner and Josh do arrive first, winning a trip to Cambodia. Phil announces to Tanner and Josh as well as Justin and Diana, that the next leg will have a Double U-Turn. Tanner and Josh have every intention of U-Turning Justin and Diana, if possible. Guess that they are still remembering Justin’s attitude last week! What do you think? Justin informs Tanner and Josh that they better hope whoever it is that they U-Turn is eliminated or they will make themselves an enemy for absolutely no reason at all.

The third team to arrive at the Pit Stop is Kelsey and Joey.

Team four to arrive at the Pit Stop is Jazmine and Danielle and Denise and James are fifth. However, ding ding ding…it’s penalty time for Denise and James. Good thing the producers stuck by the rules because Denise obviously broke the rule. They have a 30-minute penalty. Ouch! Bet, Denise won’t make another mistake like that in the future.

Finally, Ernest and Jin arrive and choose the Carriage Detour. Since Denise and James are serving their penalty, Logan and Chris are in fifth place once they arrive at the Pit Stop. Denise and James end up in sixth place, once their penalty time is completed.

Meanwhile, Cindy and Rick get lost going to the Pit Stop. Also, Tiffany and Krista forget to return their whip and must walk back to do so. Cindy and Rick are the seventh team to arrive at the Pit Stop.

The last two teams are Tiffany and Krista and Ernest and Jin. Tiffany and Krista arrive at the Pit Stop in eighth place, eliminating Ernest and Jin.
