We received this Little Passport educational activity kit for kids for the purpose of the review.
Looking for fun educational activities for kids that help prevent summer slide? I highly recommend Little Passports! My son and I received a USA Edition box filled with fun games and activities for kids. I have to say, I had just as much fun as he did with it!
About Little Passports Educational Activities for Kids

Little Passports features really cool educational activities for kids to teach them about different places in the world. There are two different types of kits: Little Passports USA Edition and Little Passports World Edition. As I mentioned above, we received the USA Edition. Your first Little Passports kit comes with:
- An introductory letter from Sam and Sofia
- USA Field Guide
- USA Scratch Book
- USA Wall Map
- Disposable Camera and Photo Scavenger Hunt
My favorite was the USA Scratch Book! I haven’t done scratch art since I was a kid. I was kind of hoping Jake wouldn’t like that, because then I could keep it all to myself. Alas, he also loved it. He liked discovering which color would be hidden under the black scratch-off surface.
We also love the idea of a photo scavenger hunt! The camera that comes with the kit is so cute, don’t you think? The scavenger hunt list is in your United States Field Guide and includes items such as your favorite place to relax, the sky during the day and night, an insect, and animal and more. Since we’re surrounded by woods, the nature items are a breeze for us to find. If you live in the city, you may want to take a walk to the nearest park.
We also received our first State Adventure Kit, which included:
- A 32-page activity-packed journal covering 2 states (Ours was Oklahoma and Maine)
- Stickers
- Pop-out Models (we got a lobster and a vintage motorcycle model)
- Postcards
- Access to more information and activities online
I love how varied the activities are in the State kits. Maine, for example, had an activity that teaches kids about different knots, a whirlpool science activity, a fun maze and more. Each book also features fun facts about the state. I learned that earmuffs were invented in Maine in 1873! Makes sense, since it gets so cold there! Each guide features stickers that you can place into your United States Field Guide too.
There are so many fun educational activities for kids in every single kit that you’ll have days worth of entertainment. Best of all, your kids will be learning the whole time without feeling like they’re in school. It’s a great way to help prevent summer slide!
