New Upcoming February 2016 DVD Releases To See
February 2nd
- Bridge of Spies– Bridge of Spies is a 2015 historical drama thriller movie that stars Tom Hanks, Mark Rylance, Alan Alda and Amy Ryan. It is based on the 1960 Cold War event known as the U-2 incident. The movie showcases an American attorney who is assigned as a negotiator in the exchange of a pilot whose plane was shot down in the Soviet Union with a spy that has been held captive in the U.S.
- The Last Witch Hunter– The Last Witch Hunter is a 2015 dark fantasy action thriller movie that stars Vin Diesel, Elijah Wood, Rose Leslie, Michael Caine, Julie Engelbrecht and Olafur Darri Olafsson. Diesel plays the lead role of Kaulder, an immortal witch hunter who must stop some evil witches from destroying humanity.
- Our Brand is Crisis– Our Brand is Crisis is a 2015 comedy drama movie that stars Sandra Bullock, Billy Bob Thornton, Ann Dowd and Anthony Mackie. When a political consultant is sent to Bolivia to assist in the election of its president, she finds herself competing with her arch nemesis, a political consultant for another politician.
- Truth– Truth is a 2015 political drama documentary movie that stars Robert Redford, Cate Blanchett, Topher Grace, Elisabeth Moss and Dennis Quaid. The movie is based on Mary Mapes, a TV news producer and Dan Rather, a news anchor and the 2004 controversy known as The Killian Documents, which ended both their careers.
- Rock the Kasbah– Rock the Kasbah is a 2015 comedy drama movie that features an all-star cast including Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Scott Caan and Danny McBride. Murray stars as Richie Lanz, a former rock music manager. He discovers a talented young singer while in Afghanistan and becomes her manager as she competes in a singing competition.
February 9th
- Spectre– Spectre is a 2015 spy movie starring Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Ralph Fiennes. James Bond is on a mission to uncover the truth about an evil and corrupt organization known as Spectre.
- Crimson Peak– Crimson Peak is a 2015 gothic romance movie starring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Jim Beaver and Charlie Hunnam. The movie is about a woman who is running from a family tragedy. She marries a mysterious man who seems to live in a house full of ghosts.
- Love the Coopers– Love the Coopers is a 2015 Christmas comedy movie starring John Goodman, Alan Arkin, Ed Helms, Diane Keaton, Anthony Mackie, Amanda Seyfried, Jake Lacy, Olivia Wilde, Marisa Tomei and June Squibb. The movie showcases the reunion of four generations of the Cooper family on Christmas Eve. The celebration is filled with unlikely events and unexpected visitors.
February 16th
- Black Mass– Black Mass is a 2015 crime drama movie that stars Johnny Depp, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Joel Edgerton, Rory Cochrane and Dakota Johnson. The movie is based on the criminal acts of Whitey Bulger, the infamous mobster.
- Steve Jobs– Steve Jobs is a 2015 biographical drama movie that stars Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels and Seth Rogen. The movie is based on the real life of Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Inc.
- The 33– The 33 is a 2015 biographical disaster survival drama movie that stars Antonio Banderas, Rodrigo Santoro, James Brolin, Juliette Binoche, Lou Diamond Phillips, Mario Casas, Juan Pablo Raba, Jacob Vargas, Gabriel Byrne and Bob Gunton. The movie is based on the 2010 Chilean mining disaster in which 36 miners were trapped underground for over two months.
February 23rd
- The Good Dinosaur– The Good Dinosaur is a 2015 3D computer-animated movie featuring the voices of Raymond Ochoa, Sam Elliott, Jack Bright, Anna Paquin, AJ Buckley, Steve Zahn, Frances McDormand and Jeffrey Wright. Arlo is a young Apatosaurus who travels through some treacherous landscape with an unlikely human friend.
- Spotlight– Spotlight is a 2015 biographical drama movie starring Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Liev Schreiber, John Slattery and Stanley Tucci. The movie is the true story of the Boston Globe newspaper uncovered the child molestation scandal of the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston.
- My All American– My All American is a 2015 biographical sports drama movie starring Aaron Eckhart, Finn Wittrock, Robin Tunney and Sarah Bolger. When a football player, who is considered an underdog in the sport, catches the eye of a legendary coach, he takes his team to the championship. But, when he suffers a devastating injury, he finds himself facing one of the biggest challenges of his life.

Rock the Kasbah and The Good Dinosaur are two movies I really want to see! I don’t watch many movies but will be making an exception for these two.
I’m looking forward to the Steve Jobs movie. Most of the other movies I’m really looking forward to are coming out in April or May. I’ll be back to check!

This is a great list of movies to see. There are a couple of DVD here I would get. Steve Jobs and The Last Witch Hunt I would will be getting. I love watching the movies with the kids too.
