America’s Funniest Home Videos Trivia:
The Phenomenon

America’s Funniest Home Videos is syndicated in more than 50 countries worldwide. It has also been entered as part of the Smithsonian’s permanent entertainment collection for being a pop culture icon. As of Season 26, the show has given away over $13 million in cash prizes and has looked at over 1 million tapes sent in by viewers.

Currently, the show is in its 26th season and is one of the very few shows that have made it to or past the 26th season. Other shows to hit that mark include COPS– 28 seasons, The Simpsons– 27 seasons and Survivor– 31 seasons. I’m rooting for AFV to make it past 31 seasons!
