In my opinion, it’s these shows that really help you get the most out of your subscription. If you look at the movie selections between Amazon and Netflix, chances are you’ll find a ton of duplicates. I honestly can’t think of a time when I went in search of a movie on Netflix, didn’t find it, then found it on Amazon or vice-versa. The series centers around Marius Josipovic, a con man, recently released from prison and on the run from Vince Lonigan, a ruthless gangster. In order to take cover, Marius assumes the identity of Pete Murphy, his former cell mate. Sneaky Pete stars Giovanni Ribisi as Marius, Bryan Cranston as Vince and Ethan Embry as Pete.

The Man in the High Castle

You can watch seasons 1 and 2 of The Man in the High Castle. The Man in the High Castle is a dystopian television series that premiered on January 15, 2015. The series is loosely based on the 1962 book of the same name by Phillip K. Dick. It focuses on a hypothetical situation: what the world would be like if Axis Powers had won World War II and the United States was ruled by Japan and Germany. The Man in the High Castle stars Rupert Evans as Frank Frink, Luke Kleintank as Joe Blake, Alexa Davalos as Juliana Crain and DJ Qualls as Ed McCarthy.

On Amazon Prime, you can watch seasons 1-3 of Mozart in the Jungle. Mozart in the Jungle is a comedy-drama television series that premiered on February 6, 2014. It is based on the 2005 memoir titled Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs and Classical Music by Blair Tindall. The series focuses on Rodrigo De Souza, a brash New York Symphony conductor and Hailey Rutledge, a young oboist looking for her chance to play with the New York Symphony. Mozart in the Jungle stars Gael Garcia Bernal as Rodrigo and Lola Kirke as Hailey.

  7. I haven’t heard about most of these shows, unfortunately, I don’t get to watch that much of TV. I have only watched a few parts from Transparent – I thought it was just ok for me, but an interesting story, I suppose.

  8. We have Netflix, but we don’t have Amazon Prime. Hubby and I talked about getting it though because of the great offers/deals they’ve got. I have to talk to him about it again. 🙂
