No matter what your favorite type of movie, there is something for everyone from biographical thriller to fantasy adventure to action adventure t and even a decent superhero flick. Here are some of the best movies to check out for fall 2016, and I even included some sneak peek trailers just for you!

Morgan– A sci-fi horror movie about a consultant faced with the decision on whether or not to terminate a human hybrid. Kate Mara, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Paul Giamatti stars.
The Light Between Oceans– The Light Between Oceans is a romantic period drama movie about a couple living off the coast, raising a baby they found adrift on a rowboat. Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander. This movie looks so romantic, and may satisfy my need for a good chick flick. I think it’s similar to The Notebook in some ways.
9th
Sully- A biographical drama movie about U.S. Airways Flight 1549 and the emergency landing that took place. Tom Hanks stars as Sully Sullenberger. This movie looks really good and is based on a true story.
16th
Snowden– A biographical, political thriller movie about computer expert, Edward Snowden, who leaked classified NSA information. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Edward Snowden. I can’t wait to see this film, it’s also based on a true story.
Blair Witch– A psychological thriller movie that is the sequel to the 1999 film The Blair Witch Project. The original movie was a phenomenon when it was first released because it was so different than anything else that had been produced. Will the second one still have the same craziness?
23rd
Storks– A computer-animated adventure comedy movie about a former stork delivery factory that now delivers packages. It features the voices of Andy Samberg, Kelsey Grammer, Ty Burrell and Jennifer Aniston. Storks looks so cute, and possibly will have some feels too!
Queen of Katwe– A biographical sports drama movie based on the real-life of chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi. Madina Nalwanga stars in the main role as the Queen of Katwe. This film has the potential to be a pretty thoughtful and inspiring film.

Masterminds– A heist comedy movie about an armored car company night guard who organizes a large bank heist. The film features an all-star cast including Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children– A dark fantasy adventure movie about a teenage boy who travels to the Home of Peculiar Children, and is tasked with protecting the children from evil forces. Asa Butterfield and Eva Green star. I read the first book in anticipation of this movie because the book is almost always better right? I think this film has the chance to be better in the movie than it was in the book. This is a Tim Burton film which also gives it more potential to be great.
OCTOBER
7th
The Girl on the Train– A mystery thriller movie about a woman who takes the train to work every day. One morning she witnesses something shocking, finding herself entangled in a mystery that will change the lives of all who are involved. Emily Blunt stars. I’m not sure about this one; I haven’t heard much buzz yet, but I’m curious.
14th
The Accountant– An action thriller movie about a mathematics savant who works for criminal organizations as a forensic accountant. Ben Affleck stars, which usually means it’s going to be good.
Max Steel– A sci-fi superhero movie of Max McGrath, a teenage boy, and Steel, his alien friend. Ben Winchell stars as Max. Bring on the Superhero movie!

Keeping Up with the Joneses- An action comedy movie about a couple, tangled in an espionage plot, discover their new neighbors are secret agents. Jon Hamm, Gal Gadot, Zach Galifianakis and Isla Fisher star. I’ve seen little blips of this film, and so far it looks interesting.

Assassin’s Creed– An action adventure movie based on the popular video game franchise. Assassin’s Creed stars Michael Fassbender in the main role of Callum Lynch. I don’t think you necessarily have to be a fan of the video game already to enjoy the movie, but I know the video game fans are SUPER excited. I found a cool behind the scenes clip on Instagram.
