Watch Transformers 5: The Last Knight movie trailer!

“It is being said, through the ages, without sacrifice there can be no victory. Two species at war…one flesh, one metal.” That is the beginning of the movie trailer for Transformers 5: The Last Knight. We can safely assume that the voiceover in the trailer belongs to Optimus Prime. Watch the trailer below and take a look at my review after:

Transformers 5: The Last Knight Movie Trailer Review

My opinion on the movie trailer? The Transformers 5 : The Last Knight Official Trailer takes a lot of time seemingly going over redundant information before it sets up for the actual film. The trailer  doesn’t actually sell the movie. It seems like the same film with slightly different faces and same vague action scenes intended to capture our attention. Although there are some interesting takeaway points

  • The status,
  • The odd return of Optimus Prime who we saw leaving at the end of the last film
  • The continuation of Mark Wahlberg storyline, minus the appearance of his daughter.

Now, I am not saying this is going to be a horrible movie. I think it will be just a great as the others in the Transformers film series. But, I am saying that I don’t think the movie trailer did enough to hype people up to go see the movie.

Transformers 5: The Last Knight Movie Trailer Trivia

Transformers 5: The Last Knight will be released in theaters on June 23, 2017. It is the 5th movie in the Transformers film series, with the others being the 2007 Transformers, the 2009 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the 2011 Transformers: Dark of the Moon and the 2014 Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Also, reprising their roles are John Goodman as the voice of Hound, Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, Stanley Tucci as Joshua Joyce, Josh Duhamel as William Lennox, Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps and John Turturro as Seymour Simmons.
